COMMIT
Commitment to the parent/teacher partnership is essential for each child’s success within Seven Peaks. Teachers rely on parents to be familiar with the course material, instructing and monitoring the child’s progress at home. The commitment requires assignments, activities, and projects completed on schedule during satellite days, and that curriculum and school work are returned with each child on campus days. In addition, parental commitment to campus volunteer opportunities radically influences the overall success and outcome of campus days. Volunteer opportunities might include: lunch hour assistance, teacher assistance, class reader, party planner, project preparer, etc. Last, parents are committed to reporting grades and attendance to Poudre River School.
CHEER
Cheering on students, teachers and faculty establishes an environment of growth, learning and opportunity. Seven Peaks will continue to grow, learn and seek opportunities to go beyond the scope of modern day education for families. We ask parents to cheer on Seven Peaks as we continue to grow in excellence. Additionally, it is extremely important students grow and learn in an atmosphere of cheer. Optimism and confidence exuded by parents as they facilitate school work emphasizes the joy of learning. This brings great strength to the child on their education journey, and therefore, we ask parents to approach teaching with great cheer and the mindset that they are their child’s greatest encourager.
CULTIVATE
Seven Peaks cultivates a Holy Spirit focused atmosphere for learning. We believe with everything we do in life, choosing to be led by the Holy Spirit is the gateway to success. He desires to partner with us on our journey, and He knows our pathway forward. When we yield to His direction we see doors of opportunity open and road blocks removed. On top of that, we see His fruit released in our lives. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control are essential to the teacher, parent, and student partnership. Parents are encouraged to cultivate a Holy Spirit led learning atmosphere in their homes including discussing beliefs, morality and values within the course material through His guidance.
